Engagement

Stonewoods Limited is an ongoing DevOps consulting engagement and one of our longest-standing client relationships — the kind of engagement that only happens when infrastructure keeps doing its job quietly, year after year.

Approach

At the centre of the engagement is a custom content management system built to run a large e-commerce catalogue: thousands of products organised across hundreds of categories. Rather than fitting the business into an off-the-shelf platform’s constraints, the CMS was built around how Stonewoods actually organises and manages its catalogue.

Stack

A custom CMS running on one of our earliest AWS implementations — infrastructure that has stayed in production long enough to prove out the original architecture, with ongoing DevOps support keeping it reliable as the catalogue has grown.

Outcome

A long-running relationship built on infrastructure that has kept working under continuous, real-world load rather than needing periodic rebuilds. It’s a useful proof point for cloud & infrastructure work in particular: this is what one of our AWS deployments looks like several years in, not just on launch day.
